Water Weirdness

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1097

You find a slow river about ten feet wide, bordered on one side by a steep wall and on your side by a manmade twenty foot long platform. The far wall is pitted and rises far up into the darkness. It is all very odd.
On the far side is an array of very large tubes made of a flexible material. A white and black sign is set into the wall. It is covered with glass to protect it from the water spray. A small torch, equally protected with a glass panel on one side, gives enough light to read the sign. It inidicates one should place a tube onto the water, climb on it and float away into the darkness.
"Spooky." you say, your voice lost to the rippling.
You have very few choices here. Go back tot he graveyard, leap across the river and climb up the far wall or just go on the 'innertube'.

  1. Go to the graves.
  2. Leap and climb.
  3. Leap, slip and fall in.
  4. Take a tube to your destiny.
  5. You attack the tubes with your sword.
  6. You throw the tubes into the river and watch them float away.
  7. You press on the sign and a secret door opens.
  8. You hear voices. You climb up the far wall about twenty feet and hide. People enter the area.
  9. You take a tube back to the graves.
  10. You go to the graves and one by one, steal the gravestones and toss them into the river.
