At once Fred was dropping the fruits she worked so hard to get and examining her fingers as the red coloration continued to spread. She was horrified to see that it did not appear to intend to stop anytime soon, and sure enough, in a few short minutes, her face and hands and legs and neck, in fact the skin all over her body, as well as her long cascade of beautiful hair, had turned a brilliant crimson, the colour of the very fruits she had been eating!

  1. She looked absurd! Fred tried not to weep, wondering how she could ever go out in public looking like this.
  2. But her body was not done changing - she began to notice a strange swelling...
