So there she was, a young woman who had once been beautiful, and who almost certainly wasn't anymore. Belboz couldn't see how far she had fallen, but she could tell she wasn't worth much in the looks department anymore. Where the crone had looked to be around 65 before, she had shed at least a few years and lost most of her warts. And she was unconscious in Belboz's lap, and Belboz was still chained to the wall.

  1. She couldn't risk this mission until she was sure that it had been a failure. She'd at least have to free herself and survey the damage done before bailing.
  2. She was certain that no prince would take her now, so Belboz fled the body, and Fred suddenly snapped back into control.
