The Doctor's Dalek Detector Does Its Duty

In reply, the Doctor stepped over to the strange console in the middle of the room and began pressing buttons. "There," he said, pointing to some kind of screen. Stacy couldn't get a good look at it over the shoulders of the Doctor and the other three women, but it appeared to be showing some sort of map. The Doctor tapped it decisively. "A disused subway tunnel, about two miles from here."

"Funny place to park a spaceship," the woman who'd been described to her as "Betty-1" remarked.

"Transmat, then?" asked Betty-2.

"Possibly," said the Doctor. "There is an energy signature that could be indicitive of transmat technology."

"Excuse me," said Stacy, "but what the heck is a transmat?" They all ignored her.

"So, what do we do?" asked the second redhead -- Melissa, Stacy remembered she was called. The three of them all stared at the Doctor expectantly.

1. "I think I'm just going to go and have a little look."
2. "If they are coming in by transmat, the first thing to do is to attempt to jam their signal."
3. "We have a little talk with the local authorities."
