The Call of Nature calls...

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 108998

“Er . . . .do apologize for being tardy in helping,” he says, sheepishly. "Last minute changes of plans due to fools who thought they knew better but didn't know me at all. I'm . . .afraid you're part of an extreme fallback option, my dear."

Picking up gently the still woozy fairy, he turns and glares at the last conscious contingent of Arthema's camp guards and magic user types. Queen Arthema herself looks furious but impotent, knowing that the Planeswalker's wrath (as well as the blood debt she owes him) would be hellacious indeed if he was crossed any more today.

As for the Master, he'd been able to (with some effort) to get ahold of the recordings his hidden, cloaked spying devices of what had happened today and had been able (barely) to transmat here in time to salvage the situation before it was too later.

. . .

Indeed, that buffonish version of the Doctor had almost ruined everything, leading the the death of that one rather fascinating realm he'd rescued more than a few people from, if only for posterity sake.

That and one last hurrah. A little excitement before fading out one last time after so long here...

Only a bit more before he went.

"Check the young fairy girl's companion which arrived with this girl here," he commanded in a tone that expected nothing less that obedience. "Examine her aura, by all means THIS time for Rassilon's sake! You nearly destroyed two innocent minds here with your foolishness!"

"What do you mean 'innocent'?!" growled one guard, fingering her sword and wanting nothing but to stab a certain Time Lord here for his imperious tones. Males should know their place!

"The Transform Door?" the Master sneered. "It worked and the monsters of the Two Girl Prophecy or whatnot were actually gone from this plane of existence. Made some rather homely female trolls really.

"'Hannah' and this young fairy girl haled from a mirror version of this realm," the Master continued, talking down to his audience like speaking with a class of particularly slow, simple idiot children. "You were punishing heroes for crimes of villians, and nothing more you creatons!"

The last part is delivered at a roar, causing the poor fairy lass known formerly as Belboz to moan in pain as she and the Master transmat away, to safety (of a sort).

The Master sighed, this was too close for his taste by FAR and . . .his time was approaching. One last thing...

Still somewhat OUT of things, the fairy looks around at a room too alien for her to easily understand. She then looks at the Master, who looks back at her with a little bit of distaste at what he must do next here...

It was for the best he told himself as a lever is thrown and a Portal opens into a a dark cave, dimly lit by some natural glow coming from the very rocks.

The distraught young girl pulled instantly on the fairy woman's heart strings. The innocence was too much for the golden fairy!! The poor thing needed help and her fairy nature demanded what happened next.

"I am the Master and you will . . . what?" the Master blinks as the fairy lass spins and flies right through the portal and over to comfort the distraught young girl dressed in an outfit made of tall grasses and leaves.

  1. "Well. . . .that saves me the need to hypnotise the poor fairy girl to do what I need of her," the Master sighs, closing the Portal.
