As Xyllis watched, waiting for them to emerge fully back to consciousness, she wished she could have figured out what their real names were, before they had been magicked to believe they were supposed to be a princess and a knight. She supposed it was possible that these were their real names, and had been the inspiration for the enchantment, but even if that was true it would be kinder in the long run to let them become different bawdy girls, rather than different people entirely.
The two of them stumbled a bit, and looked about, taking in their surroundings, until their gazes finally landed on Xyllis.

They have their bawdy instincts, but all their memories, manufactured and otherwise, are completely suppressed.

They retain all their memories, but their mannerisms and instincts and even thought processes are decidedly those of bawdy girls.

As Xyllis was not able to restore their original minds, she instead created for them some rudimentary memories from scratch and suppressed their false ones. Unfortunately a side effect of this was that they would be rather slow-witted and dull.
