He appeared to be about her same age, and she couldn't deny that he was attractive. As she looked at him, Belboz's words came back to her: "You will grow up into a beautiful young woman, get married and become a mother..." Her heart fluttered. After he had more or less gotten over the initial shock and outrage, he told her that his name was Christopher and he was visiting his Aunt Gloriana in her cottage. He'd been relaxing outside when all of a sudden, fairies were upon him, and the world was growing around him. "They must have decided they wanted more," Hannah said mournfully. "I was Gloriana's apprentice." The boy starts. "You? You're Hannah?" She nodded. "How I wish we could tell my aunt of this! She has missed you, and worries for you daily. She speaks highly of you." Hannah smiled. "That's surprising." "It's not to be taken lightly." Hannah hadn't realize how much she'd missed having someone to talk to. And Christopher seemed like such a gentleman. They stayed up and conversed all night.
