Mitchell sits on the couch. He's damp now, due to the fog. The women have left long ago. He gets an idea. He whips off his shirt, ties it to the sofa arm, holds it to the end and feels out. Nothing.
Now he's sitting on the couch wearing a wrinkled shirt.

  1. Sit and brood.
  2. Call out for help.
  3. The Astras return.
  4. One Astra return.
  5. Mitchell does the feeling thing in the other direction and finds the tower.
  6. The fog rolls out.
  7. A seventy pound jet-black mutt leaps onto the couch and settles in for a nap.
  8. Mitchell finds a self-lighting novel about bored superheros under a cushion.
  9. The couch bursts into flames.
  10. Something makes noise, seemingly from the lone Staircase window above.
