Gay Bar Part Two

Krissy, deeply offended, sits up in bed, mouth open in stunned silence as she glares at Roger.

Whereas Roger can't figure out what was so wrong about his confession. "Wait, what's the matter?"

"Oh!" Krissy finally snaps. "It took you meeting and entering a relationship with me for you to realize that you were gay? Do you think I like being used by some closeted asshole so he can pretend to be somebody that he isn't?! Why were you wasting all of my time and having sex with me so often if you're really attracted to men instead of women?!"
"I'm not attracted to men!" Roger stammers in protests.
"Roger, when a man says that he's gay, it means that his sexual preference is to other men! Not women! That's what 'gay' means!"
"Actually, Krissy," Scott interrupts, "the word 'gay' is a synonym for 'happy'--"
"I know that, Scott!" Krissy snaps before turning her attention back to Roger. "Roger, what the hell is going on here? If you're gay, why were you wasting my time pretending to be straight?"

Roger sighs. "I don't like men, okay?" he finally replies. "I didn't think 'gay' meant that! I just thought it was a way of describing someone or something as 'lame', 'annoying', 'dorky', whatever! I didn't mean it as me liking guys!"

Scott and Krissy both face palm.

"Man, Roger," is all Scott can say.
"Oh, good one, Roger," Krissy finally yells. "It isn't bad enough that you're so deeply closeted that you don't even know who or what you are, you've got really low self-esteem! You just referred to yourself as being lame and annoying! Do you even know what you're even saying, Roger?"

1. "Yes," he replies.
2. "No," he stammers.
3. Roger instantly transforms into a very lame and annoying creep.
4. Actually, Roger is still mentally stuck in middle school.
5. "Wait!" Roger snaps. "I caught you cheating on me with this loser! How can it be that this conversation has suddenly become all about labeling me as 'gay' just so you can justify your betrayal of me?!"
