The woman stood there, blinking stupidly; Ilsa gasped and clapped her hands to her mouth, eyes wide with shock; and Belboz quickly cast a teleportation spell over all four of them before someone else came in who he would have to enchant.
Once they were safely in the forest many miles from Embron and Jastina's castle, he said without missing a beat, "Do not be afraid, either of you. Ilsa, you have been magicked not to remember, but this is your sister, Eda. She was turned into a man many years ago. I cannot tell you why, but it was to keep you both safe. The danger is now passed." Ilsa and Eda stared at one another before crying out in joy and falling into each other's arms. "I am so glad to be reunited," Ilsa wept, to which Eda cried, "And I, sister." While they had their tearful "reunion," Belboz gazed at the months-old infant in his arms who had once been Queen Jastina. He had not meant for this to happen.
