There is a flash, a high pitched whine, and Minestus, Astra, and Belboz find themselves somewhere (and somewhen?) else entirely! Astra shook her head annoyingly, rubbing her forehead with her right hand. It was that stupid headache again. She would have to get some more Moraga root later, she was so very tired of her head hurting. "Lady Satra!" came the joyful call of a child who ran out of her house and embraced Astra in the street. "You came for lunch!" "Of course I did," Astra replied, shaking her head again as if to clear it. For a moment she had misheard little Daisy, it had sounded as if she had called her 'Astra'. Why was that name vaguely familiar? Anyway, it did not matter. She was here, wife to Lord Lebzob, in the small village of P'tar. It was a simple life, but a good one, being minor noble lords over the village. "Come on in, the roast is ready!" said Daisy with a giggle, running back inside. Putting a smile on her face, Astra followed.
"This simply will not do," insisted Minestus. "Those bothersome whelps are poaching my sheep!" He stood in a simple (if well decorated) audience chamber before two basic thrones on a slightly elevated dais. One was empty but the other one held the concerned form of Belboz. "I understand your frustration, Brother Tesminus," said Belboz, "but we have no standing military. How are we to combat these... what did you say they were again?" "Do not mock me!" said Minestus, stomping his foot. "I am of the Holy Order of Nogdra, we do not lie. They are dragon whelps!" "The word of your order has never been doubted," replied Belboz, "not for two generations. But dragons, true dragons, are a myth. It is far more likely to be a great cat or a bear. I will tell you what, I will have Frederigo the Hunter attempt to slay these beasts for you." "Fred...." said Minestus, a confused look on his face. "Lord Fred?" They both laughed then, as Belboz shook his head. "Frederigo wishes he was a Lord, but we both know he is as common as common gets. That being said, he will hunt down those predators for you." "I still believe they are dragon whelps, Lord Lebzob," replied Minestus. "I will find a way to prove it to you!" and he stormed out of the room.
