The Mysterious Blue Hallway

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 10490

Lord Frederigo D'Honaire, Velus, and Princess Exotica of the Great Kingdom entered the first set of doors. On the other end was a hallway, stretching off into the distance. Its walls were a strange, ethereal shade of blue. Bizzarre, menacing glowing runes were carved on the wall, illuminating the hallway without any torchlight.

Fred, Velus, and Exotica moved down the hallway. It seemed to stretch off a long way. After a while, the hallway made a left turn. Shortly afterwards, Fred and his companions came to a black door with no handle and a mysterious rune inscribed on it. Lying on the floor in front of it was a pile of books.

"What on Earth are those books there for?" asked Exotica. "That seems to be a rather strange place to put books. There just doesn't seem to be any logical reason to leave them in a pile in front of a door."

"Nothing about this is logical, Princess," said Fred.

  3. Our heroes continue down the hallway.
  4. Velus growled. Fred and Exotica looked in the direction he was facing. Someone--or something--was coming their way.
