Hannah... a dragon?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 104852

Ronan suddenly let out a tiny little shriek (after all, as opposed to Fred, who had been Hannah for a decade now, he'd been a peasant girl called Maya only a day before) and pointed at Hannah's hands. "What is happening with your fingers?"

Hannah's nails were unnaturally long and sharp, and her skin around her fingertips was beginning to turn an odd gold colour. Not only that, but her throat felt very hot, and when she hiccuped, smoke came forth from her mouth.

"You are beginning to exhibit the characteristics of a dragon," Ronan said in amazement, and Hannah immediately burst into tears. In his hiding place, Belboz grinned in wicked glee; he'd raised the knight-turned-girl to be incredibly, incredibly feminine, and of course she was terrified of dragons—the thought of becoming one would absolutely horrify her.

"I must find my uncle," Hannah got out between sobs. "He'll know what to do!"

  1. "I hope so, for your sake," Ronan said gravely. "If you as a dragon threaten anyone at all, it shall be my knightly duty to put an end to you."
  2. Ronan had no chance to respond, as a sudden Belboz-induced earthquake began to shake the stone around them.
  3. Belboz chose this moment to reveal himself by leaping out and shouting, "Hahah! As if I'd ever help you!" And he snapped his fingers, sending Hannah and Ronan to a market far, far away.
  4. Without revealing himself, Belboz sent the two of them to the middle of a forest a few miles away with a mere flick of his hand.
