Lilith--Fred--sneaks out that night wearing the plainest dress she's able to find, a hooded cloak, and the sturdiest pair of shoes that was available to her. She has a knapsack full of all the provisions she feels able to carry, which is not a lot, given her brand new fragile 4'9" frame. She feels incredibly vulnerable, maybe more so than she ever has. She retains all of her knowledge of self defense, but she'd be surprised to find she could even lift a broadsword in this form, much less fight off an attacker. She can't even ask anyone for directions. All she has is her admittedly incredible good looks; she's mute, weak, and altogether unrecognizable. She wishes she could find somewhere safe and close where she can rest, because the day has left her exhausted. But she can't stay so near the castle. They'd find her immediately. So she finds a map of the area in the village, silently pays for it, and enters the dark forest, intending to walk as long as she can. When she is discovered to be missing the following morning, her fiancé...
