At first Fredra refuses to wear something so feminine, but eventually caves, for a couple of reasons. One, she wants clothes. Two, she agreed to take on this life, and she's pretty sure the honorable thing to do is to obey whatever the dragon says. So the dragon sniggers and chortles for a few hours at least while Fredra comes out wearing dress after dress after sparkly dress. Finally, Fredra is left wearing a shimmery bright pink ball gown, completely unsuited for a dragon's servant. The next day, though, Fredra is given rags to wear, and eventually she comes to miss that sparkly pink dress.
