Surprisingly, Fred completely disappears into the little pool. Diana lets out a little shriek of surprise and fear, and calls her beloved's name. He resurfaces quickly, however, and says, "I appear to be a merman. So, that's a thing. And guess what else!" He ducks underwater, and comes up yet again after a few seconds. "This is much deeper than it looks!" Diana waits by the pool while Fred explores, and it turns out there is a whole underwater world, populated by other merpeople. On discovering this, Diana wastes little time in taking a drink herself, and within seconds she is sporting a green tail as well. The two of them go to the underwater city, and the first thing they do is get legally married. They are now united under Poseidon and are ecstatic to truly begin their lives together.
