Awkwardness Abounds

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 104254

Suddenly a woman with short black hair and huge eyes appears before them. She is definitely pretty, but she is past her prime—probably about forty years old.

"I don't understand," Fred says, confused.

"Well, your greatest desire was to be with Diana, but you already are. So I had to go to your second-greatest desire, which has been dormant for the last eighteen years or so. And that was to be the object of all of this woman's affections—not only that, but her husband. Happy wedding day!"

The woman lunges forward, throws her arms around Fred, and proceeds to kiss him passionately. Fred is completely bewildered, and doesn't even remember this woman. He pulls away. "Sorry, who are you?"

"I'm your wife," she says only, and then keeps kissing him.

It's at this point that Diana punches the woman in the face, and she lands on the ground, down for the count. Fred and Diana run, but...

  1. Fred is physically unable to stray too far from the woman. Apparently there was a lot involved in his second-greatest desire.
  2. the woman wakes up and begins to follow them, fueled by rage, jealousy, and a potion she finds that turns her into a giant green monster.
  3. they both find themselves tumbling into an abyss that they didn't see before.
