"M'lady Astra, that still doesn't answer my question about what the Back Up Hole is," Fred says.
"I don't think it needs any further explanation, Lord Fred!" Astra snaps in response.

Suddenly, rumbling can be heard, as well as felt underneath their feet. As the noise quickly grows louder, an enormous current of air rushes up from the pit and into the skies. As they run for safer ground, Lord Fred and Astra both look towards the sky and see that the clouds in the sky are being affected by this frighteningly powerful blast of air from deep within the earth. Some clouds are now moving in all directions away from the air column, while a much larger one is torn apart.

And suddenly, up emerges the guard, who had been caught by the air on his way down. Somehow, he propels himself away from the hole and lands roughly on the ground about fifteen feet away. A few seconds later, the horrific noise ceases, the grounds stops shaking, and the powerful air current ceases. The only noise heard now are the various leaves and tree branches that were blown off the trees hitting the ground and other trees.

Lord Fred and Astra, surprised to say the least, slowly approach the guard. He doesn't appear to be injured too severely.

1. "Why would you do that, m'lady?" the guard asks.
2. "So, I guess this is why it's called a Back Up Hole?" Fred ventures.
