Brigid is six and a half years old when Zenobia decides she's not going anywhere. She's been calling her "Mummy" for over a year now, and Zenobia is as sure as she can be that the girl is really convinced that she is, indeed, Zenobia's daughter—which is very, very sure. So, she lifts the spell. The girl comes running to her one morning shouting about how great she feels, and Zenobia smiles and nods along. She's starting to feel some degree of fondness for the child, with which she's fine, as long as no one else knows about it; it could make her seem weak. She starts wondering just what she's doing, keeping the girl around the castle. She thought it'd be amusing for a while, yes, but how long was she planning for it to go? She's not sure. But, she'll not be getting rid of the girl just yet, at least.
