The drink is not as tasty as Diana imagined; it's rather sour, in fact. Sticking her tongue out, she reaches out to place the now-half-filled vial back on the tabletop, but it slips right through her fingers and shatters on the floor. When Zenobia enters the room about half an hour later, she finds her "daughter's" body lying limply on the floor. She immediately dashes over, picks her up, and shakes her, saying, "Brigid! Brigid, can you hear me?" She notices the broken vial and the small puddle of pink on the floor and groans. She knows what this means: Diana's mind is now contained within a fine mist that must have dispersed a long time ago, and will be an absolute pain to gather up again, if it's even possible.
