Jahal laughs, saying, "Down, girl," while Prina seems more reserved and sorrowful about the whole thing. "Come on, Jahal," she says, and heads for the exit. Before stepping out, Jahal kneels down in front of Marina. "We're going to help you," he tells her seriously, then rubs her head once and leaves. Marina spends the remainder of the day closely examining anything and everything that the middle-aged man is doing. Sometimes he talks to her, which she finds very relaxing. Mostly, though, he just concentrates on what he's doing. She eventually falls asleep to the sound of him grinding some leaves into a paste. When she wakes up to the morning sun, two of the people are already up, while the third is just beginning to stir. Once they're all up, they all seem to focus on Marina at the same time. She wonders why. Jahal approaches her, holding a heavy cloak, which he uses to cover her back. Then Prina drops three dog treats on the floor. Her eyes widen and she quickly gobbles them up. She then spends a moment contemplating the flavor. They were definitely chicken-flavored, probably roast... And there's a very strong aftertaste... She falls on the floor and begins to convulse. The three people standing in the tent, as she would see if she could, obviously want to rush forward, but they know they've done all they can. The transformation comes after a full horrible minute of seizing, and it itself lasts ten seconds. They can see her tail and snout shrinking, her arms and legs lengthening, her fur falling out and the hair on her head growing. And then it's done. Lying on the floor before them is a very thin woman in her late fifties to early sixties. Her hair is long, straight, and grey, and her hands are withered and wrinkled. She's lying face down mostly covered with the cloak, so that's all they can see. She just lies on the floor for a long moment, and then starts to shift around, apparently trying to understand what's happened to her body. She looks around at them in complete and utter bewilderment, her pretty grey eyes stretched wide. The first thing she does is...
