"I couldn't find any more chipmunks," you report back to Fred and Astra. (You aren't quite sure why you were the one given the job of hunting for them.)
"That's a pity," Astra says. "I enjoyed my share." She rubs her belly contentedly. "I suppose that we ought to get back to hunting down the dragon," you say. "No, I can't let you do that," Fred says. "He's my friend. Just because you shared the roasted chipmunks with me doesn't mean I've forgotten that I have to kill you and Boobs to protect him." You reflect that, for all that Fred's degenerated into an idiot, the healing magic that the dragon has imbued him with makes him a dangerous adversary. And to make matters worse he's picked up the firesword again. You need to find a way of deceiving him. "You don't need to protect the dragon from us," you tell Fred. "We've seen the light, and now realise what a great guy he is. We only want to find him so that we can tell him that to his face."
