Hopelessly Lost

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 10182

Not only were they hopelessly lost, they were stuck on a thirty foot round levitating platform traveling slowly over a miles of lava.
"Come on!" cried Astra. "What possible purpose could this serve?"
"Great security system." said Exotica. "Must be something important on the other side."
Everyone stood up straighter. The goblin armor they wore clicked and clacked. Astra thanked her diety that their benefactor had thought to put a Clothing Ball in Velus' pocket, for there was no way armor could rest on her naked form.
The other side came into view. As expected, due to the sensory spell Exotica cast...

  1. there was no other guards.
  2. there were goblin guards. Thankfully, goblins were too stupid to look past the armor.
  3. there were human guards. With two warriors and a practicing magic user, the guards were dead or unconscious in seconds. What to do with the living ones?
  4. they had to leap onto another floating rock. "This is dumb." said Velus.
  5. same as before but Velus missed his leap and fell into the lava. Oops.
  6. it was all a dumb dream. They awoke to find a simple hallway and a broken, burnt Dream-Ball.
