Reaibn is Off Course

"Lord Fred," Reaibn said, bowing respectfully. "I was just fetching a bottle from the Palace wine cellar."

"Don't you think that going via the Southern Caves is a rather roundabout route?"

"The Southern Caves? Is that where this is? No wonder it didn't look familiar."

Fred decided that finding out how Reaibn had managed to get here should wait for another time. It was more important to try to free Astra. "As you can see, Princess Astra of Aqualaria has been chained up here by the dragon. Perhaps one of your skeleton keys might manage to unlock her chains?"

The caves were not very well-lit and Reaibn's eyesight was not very good. Looking in the direction that Fred had pointed he noticed Astra for the first time. "Oh! I hope you won't think me rude for ignoring you, Your Highness, but I hadn't spotted you. Um, you don't seem to be wearing any clothes."

With an effort, Astra managed to keep her temper. "Indeed. Hello, Reaibn. Please drop the 'Royal Highness' nonsense and just call me Astra. Now if you would just see if any of your keys will unlock my chains..."

1. One of them will.
2. None of them will.
3. Magical locks don't like an unauthorised person trying to tamper with them. When the first key comes into contact with the first lock there is a bright flash. After the flash, Astra is still chained to the wall, but now she is hanging upside down.
4. Unexpectedly, Reaibn says: "Oh I couldn't possibly do that."
