Even if Fred had just slaughtered several members of the leader's troupe of bandits just a few minutes earlier, he was caught off guard by the leader's humble surrender. After all, only an honorable man would approach an enemy is such a matter.

And since Lord Fred is an honorable man, he sincerely believes that a truce will be declared, so he begins to talk to the bandit leader diplomatically.

  1. An hour or so later, a truce is established.
  2. The bandits' leader feels like he's being talked down upon, which sets off another skirmish.
  3. Belboz manifests himself in the cave, to explain that the curse he placed on Fred in episode 906 has further consequences.
  4. Suddenly, the dragon can be heard lurking nearby...
