"That's me and Gilmuriel!" E'ysha whispered. "Back before we were
transformed into elves!"
The elves then give encapsulated stories about themselves. Gilmuriel and
E'ysha had been humans named Fred and Astra on their version of Terra
before running afoul from a mad mage and then teleported to Terra Prime
(re: 7366 and 7376 ). Elrondir and B'ellana relate their stories (re: 7377
and 7379).
That then lead up to the revelation about magic and Dr. Who learning about the arcane arts from Sigin and a few other dragons. Protest at this being absurd are silenced by the same equation that had astonished several other Doctors. The Fourth Doctor just stares at the equation, and then begins to laugh in delight. Romana looks a bit.....stunned.
"Jelly baby or crackers?" Dr. Who offers the young Time Lady and the Fourth Doctor, at a bit of a loss on how to exactly help here with this young woman who looks like her world has been turned topsy turvy.
The Fourth Doctor pauses and then shakes his head at the befuddled look Romana gives Dr. Who.
"No thanks for the first," the Fourth Doctor smiles as he places a comforting hand on Romana's shoulder, "As for the second.....only sometimes."
"Similar line from the show with that last crack," Inquirer mutters as she goes over to a door nearby while the others quietly discuss the next best course of action (with inputs from Betty and Ragan).
She then makes a shushing noise, pointing towards the door.
In the next room, a council chamber, several Council Members seem to be talking to somebody.....called the Master!
Something about the evil Time Lord going into the Death Zone and rescuing the Doctor......
