Jeb Smith visited the ad-hoc police force first thing in the morning. Just to say hi, drop off some apples from his tree, gossip a little. But the men were smarter then that. Everyone knew they were being sized up. Jeb had seventeen guns locked up in a location only he knew about so it was a good idea to remain friends with him. And of course there was the entirely silly coincidence of all the cops having the last name Franklin. That had to be handled well or it will end badly. Every ally was needed in this odd-era of post America. When you didn't even know what people one hundred miles away were doing, things could get bad fast.
Later that day...

  1. not much happened.
  2. someone near the former school used a bullhorn to shout for help.
  3. Jeb Smith recognized the morse code for 'Help me' flashing from a nearby hilly ridge.
  4. Jeb is asked to help investigate odd thumping from a former fancy resturaunt.
