As a side note, episode 26240's first option contained the phrase "Seriously, how cool would it be if we waited nine years to continue this option?" We're not sure about the coolness factor, but one thing is for sure:

We're just shy of thirteen years later. The previous episode was posted on 12/6/2012 at 5:38:27 AM local time, meaning that Lots was either up really late, or he got up really early that day. The episode you're reading now was posted September 23rd, 2025, sometime between 2:30 AM and 3 AM local time.

So anyway...

1. Nine more years pass with nothing happening.
2. Thirteen more years pass with nothing happening.
3. There is a penalty for not extending episodes within a stated deadline in an option, we soon learn.
4. Only a few more hours pass before something happens.
5. We backtrack.
6. Fred travels to the waiting room instead.
