The devil had found him on the way to visit his friends, Edge and Rydia, but was ambushed by the devil. Cecil, sensing something was not right, had his sword ready for anything.Once the devil jumped out of his hiding spot, Cecil and him clashed swords. They went into a long and grueling fight, but Cecil, thanks to his healing spells won in the end. The devil was now pinned to the ground. The devil is scared, which is rare for a devil (Most never live to have that feeling).
