Carol explains that the man she was arguing with was in fact her lover, who was now blackmailing her so that he wouldn't tell her husband about her affair. But now Carol was getting short on money.

"Oh Mr. Knight, I don't know what to do?"

"Well..."

  1. "...you could borrow some money from me."
  2. "...you could tell your husband yourself."
  3. "...I could get your lover locked up."
  4. "...If you do get any money, you should give me some of it, or I'll tell your husband."
  5. "...I don't know."
  6. "...I'm hungry."
  7. "...good bye."
