Glancing quickly down on your order of fried prawns with a yogurt shake, you realize that you have fallen for one of the not so recent build-a-story fads. "Of course," you say in a desperate attempt to save face. "Don't you know the so-called food you serve here is purposely made so tasteless that it goes with anything?"

The youth gasps. "I know that," he admits, "but you are not supposed to! I'm sorry, dude, but I have to press this alarm button now. I'm supposed to do that when someone shows they know too much."

"Bring it on!" you say bravely. "I can use the exercise."

The spotted one shrugs. "It's your funeral, dude. It's just that I've never done it before." He shrugs and pushes the button, which summons

  5. ninjas
  6. teletubbies
  7. you (what?)
  8. a nasty electric show which knocks the clerk unconscious and somehow gives you time limited superhuman powers
