Apparently this Tony guy wields some influence, for the short man now treats you with great deference. He explains that the woman is Garcia Lopez' widow and she'd come into Shorty's pawn shop to get back her diamond ring, but Shorty had already sold it, hence the tears.

  1. You ask Shorty where she lives.
  2. You ask Shorty who he sold it to.
  3. You go back to your office.
