Well, we have a few ballot initiatives to get out of the way before the
election proper begins. Here's the tally, as near as I can tell:

Proposal 193 A Joshua 2002-09-19 3:06:42 WITHDRAWN
  FOR Tieka Holmes Henry Ben
AGAINST Stephen Jesse (x3) Mark Karl
  WITHDRAWN by Joshua

"If Mary Kuhner - appointed judge by the oh-so-full-of-himself outgoing
judge of Round 192 - does not take up her judging duties within three
days of this proposals timestamp, I propose that the already mentioned
judge of round 192 (and self apointed G.O.D. (or D.O.G.) of all future
rounds) deign to judge us all for one more round."

Proposal 193 A Ed Murphy 2002-09-19 3:29:41 WITHDRAWN
FOR Ed Jesse (x3) Mark Stephen Holmes Ben
  AGAINST Karl Henry Tieka
  WITHDRAWN by Ed

"Upon the adoption of this proposal, Ed Murphy becomes the Judge of Round 193."

These two proposals between them also share one FOR and one AGAINST from
James, but indeterminately.

Proposal 193 B Joshua 2002-09-19 5:06:39
  FOR Joshua
  AGAINST Karl Stephen Holmes Ben

"It is proposed that Ed Murphy re-propose his original proposal as
proposal 193:C in order to facilitate fair voting and to avoid a
gorbushism."

Proposal 193 B Mark Nau 2002-09-19 6:48:42
  FOR Ben
  AGAINST Nau Stephen Holmes Jesse

"I propose that both of Jesse W's votes be voided, since the second
vote overrode the first, and he requested the second one be voided."

These two proposals between them also share one FOR and one AGAINST from
James, but indeterminately. They appear to be failing.

Proposal 193 C Mark Nau 2002-09-19 5:12:09
  FOR Mark Jesse Ben
  AGAINST Karl Stephen Holmes James

"It is proposed to strike proposal 193:A, since it was obviously in
error."

This appears to be failing.

Vote early, vote often!
