In defense of my own rule:
Regarding your first question, 197:2 merely requires that rules "specify
the cash price of their author's gifts," and does not require that this be
done in terms of a particular currency. The second issue is, of course, a
matter of taste, but bear in mind the following:
a) If the round is not in fact already over, there can only be at most two
of us remaining (myself and J. Bearden), a full week having passed since any
other player's last submission, so only one other person is being stuck with
creating an anagram. Once he does so, however, he gets to put me in the
position of having to create one for whatever he likes, so the burden is on
me as well.
b) I went out of my way to supply a gift for which I was able to quickly
construct a half dozen or so decent anagrams; it's not like I saddled the
poor guy with SIXTY ZULU SAXOPHONES (the only decent anagram for which I
could come up with was a LUSH, ZANY SIOUX SEXPOT). So, really, one could say
the greater burden was on me, since I tossed my opponent a softball and left
myself open to anything he might care to throw at me.

I'd like the group's opinion - is there an absolute requirement as regards
the currency of FB being used to list prices?

Also, would I be totally out of line in regarding this as far, far too
tight a restriction?
