Oh, that would be me.  I suppose I should introduce myself: My name is 
Stephen Tanner, I'm a Math grad student at the University of 
Wisconsin--Madison, and I found out about frc during a bout of Web 
exploration.  I heard about Nomic long ago, but I haven't played it 
before.  This is the first message I've gotten from the mailing list, so 
I'm still clue-impaired, but I'm glad to be here.  Hello, world!
