The Black Void - Episode 928

Finding courage and inspiration in an old nursery tail (your nurse until you were six was a troll, so she literally had a tail, which led to no end of confusion) you snatch up the bucket of water and throw it (well, just the contents actually) at Witch Maggie, who to your great satisfaction staggers backwards with a scream.

"Aaaaaaaah!! I'm melting! I'm melting!"

After a few seconds, however, it occurs to you that if she really is melting, she is doing so very, very slowly. She flashes you a wicked grin and shouts: "Not!!"

After casting a hasty Wring Out on her soggy clothes, she continues: "Yes, I've heard that story too. Nothing in it of course. I may be evil, but not so evil I can't wash!"

She reaches out to snatch the empty bucket from you. and suddenly it's full again. "Or maybe you're doing it wrong. Here, let me show you!"

And with that, she spins around and empties the bucket over you.

  1. You're melting! You're melting!
  2. Actually you just get wet.
  3. No, you're melting, but that's just because the cheating witch filled the bucket with acid.
  4. You get badly burned, but only because the water is boiling. Small consolation.
  5. For some reason the water freezes to ice before it hits you, and you get knocked out, um, cold (as it were) by a big lump of ice.
