called 'Hotel California', just like this place, which is an odd
coincidence if that song isn't known here. The hotel in the song was a
very strange place, just like this building seems to be. But that
hotel
was not just strange but dangerous as well, and I'm sure that this place
isn't."
"I certainly hope not," James says with a smile. "It's possible that whoever was responsible for the choice of name had originally come from your reality, knew of the song and named the hotel after it. But going by what you say it doesn't sound like the sort of name that would be likely to attract guests. There could be some other explanation. Or it may just be a coincidence, as you suggested. But here, things that appear to be coincidences often aren't. Could you sing me the rest of the song?"
