However, that is NOT what happened here folks.

Before Lady Astra's comment could be exploited by the mage, a muli-versal rift in reality chose that moment to run rampant right before . . .

The very thing that the mage had been TRYING to avoid happened before he could bloody well even attempt a patch/repair job using Princess Astra as a means to an end.

Lady Astra is consumed by the rift and teleported to Game 3, into that fraking starter room that usually Scott Chen is found within before each and every adventure/misadventure happens.

She will be unaware of her being one of the few survivors (more later on in this story thread), just wait. Soon you'll see where a bit of envy at another's ability of self powered flight will bring about some rather drastic changes upon her person...

But in the meantime...

A pleasant side effect of the teleport somehow wipes away all the spellwork that made "Lady" Astra such a twit, leaving her the competent and brave woman we've come to know. It also wiped away any and all memories of her time as a play toy to the dragon, so no memories of the time her treacherous kin had thrown her under the bus to be sacrificed for the greater good of the Kingdom. She will come to believe that the temple priests had sacrificed her to the gods and goddess above (and below) and they (such JOKERS) sent her here. Where in reality they sent her to the dragon to appease the beast and keep it at bay...

"Loneliness can't be all bad," Princess Astra told herself. In the past months she had developed a habit of lecturing herself out loud. "After all, being alone means that I don't have to worry that this room has provided me with all the necessities of life with the notable exception of any clothes."

She began to pace again, still feeling lonely. She didn't understand the comfortable - but hideously patterned - tie-dyed sofas lining the room, or the boxed food in the corner, or the strangely inaccessible spiral staircase plunging through the ceiling and floor. She had wondered a couple of thousand times what she was doing here -- but who was counting?

Astra sighed, shook her head, and...
