"What's wrong with killing some time," said Lord Fred. "If we are cooperating, then there is no rush, correct?"

"Well you have a point," said Old Gek, "but I am not confident that you will retain your perspective if given additional time to consider alternatives. You might get back in the mall and summon the guards, ruin my whole operation."

"We couldn't summon the guards," said Astra, "you have disabled our wristbands."

"Bah," said Old Gek. "But thank you for the reminder. If I don't restore those before we go in, it will flag you and security will show up anyway. I almost stepped right in that one."

Fred winced internally, that would have been just what they needed. Old Gek fixed their wristbands and then considered his options. "The way I see it," he said, "we have a few options. One, I take my chances and we just go on in. I have to trust you to honor our deal. Two, I regrettably kill the both of you, and Three, I send one of you in to find the time, then hold the other until they get back."

Fred and Astra looked at each other, then Old Gek again. "Well," said Fred, "I think...

1. option One is the best deal. We are people of honor." Old Gek agrees to this, and they make preparations.
2. option Three is fine. Send me. On my honor, I will not deviate." Old Gek thinks it over.
3. "It doesn't matter what you think," interrupted Old Gek. "I am going to make this decision."
4. Meanwhile, doggie Velus is still trying to get the attention of Customer Services.
5. Unbeknownst to Old Gek, the TSA (Temporal Security Agency) [HH 4463] is well aware of his fake store scam. They choose now to move in for the bust!
