Astra took some time to try to figure out what the meaning of the chalk could be. She had never heard of magical chalk, but clearly here it was. It was then, in her mind, she heard a whisper. Faint, like a stray thought, but not hers. Alien. Draw a latch on the box That was just silly. She didn't want to draw, she wanted to escape! Then again... Astra picked up a piece of chalk, and was shocked. She dropped the chalk in surprise, which crackled with lightning and then faded to normal. "Dammit!" she exclaimed, and picked it up again. BZZZT! went the chalk, and this time the shock was enough to throw her against the wall. "Ungh!" said Astra, falling to the ground. Determined, she picked up the chalk again... and this time there was nothing. "Belboz, you son of a bitch," she muttered...
Belboz laughed, watching Astra be shocked by the chalk, but stopped laughing when he saw her draw a latch on the box, open it, and take out the golden key. "No... that's impossible..." he muttered. She wasn't clever enough to have figured that out already. It was too late to change the room, its spells had been extremely time consuming and making any modifications would be impossible without a large amount of prep time. Muttering, Belboz, went into his private chambers to look up some emergency tactics in case she figured out how to escape.
Astra stared at the heavy golden key, wonder in her eyes. "Nice!" she said, and contemplated her next move. She tried drawing cracks on her chains, but that did nothing. She could only really reach one wall, and so she had the thought to draw a door on it. However, not only would that be useless if she was still chained up, the chalk was being used up and she did not want to risk running out. No, she would think on this and decide on a plan, she had nothing but time.
