Reaibn stood in the road, a freak storm summoned by his rage soaking him to
the bone. Any observer would think he was staring at nothing, but in fact
he was looking at a shimmering field in the air around five feet in front
of him. As his demon-horses [93872] had entered it, they had been dispelled
back to their home plane. "F*cking anti-magic!" snarled Reaibn, pacing back and forth. He had tried to cast spells through the shimmering field, and all of them had fizzled. He had even taken the Eye in hand and willed the field to dissipate, and aside from summoning a storm that would be responsible for the destruction of several miles of forest with powerful straight-line winds and terrible crop-destroying hail, nothing happened. A hard glint entering his eyes, Reaibn looked at the Eye. "We will see who can resist me now..." he muttered, then put it in his mouth and swallowed it. Feeling as though he was being stabbed by a thousand tiny knives, he squared his shoulders and walked resolutely through the field...
