"Of course not," said Astra. "I am being forced to share my bedchamber with
Belboz, a man whom I met for the first time today. That's the reason." Fred frowned. "If you're worried about Belboz's intentions towards you, then I can have another cot moved in and set a reliable servant to keep an eye on him. That's not a bad idea, actually. Why did I assume that I could trust Belboz not to help you to escape?" "Oh, that's not necessa-" but Fred interrupted her. "No, you brought up a good point." Fred vanishes, and a few moments later a servant walked into her room with a cot, which he put down on the floor. "I am to watch you, sir," he said to Belboz. He was a scruffy, smelly, drunkard that Belboz recognized as being the most kiss-arsey of the servants since Fred came into power. His name was Wendel. "Piss off, Wendel," said Belboz, irritably. "I don't want you staring at me all night." "It's my job, isn't it?" said Wendel, pulling a flask out of his pocket. "I don't want either of you in here at all!" said Astra, pounding on the bed covers with her fists. Suddenly, Fred re-appeared in the room. "I just realized I really can't trust you Astra. Not really. Not yet. So, I am going to have to curse you." Belboz chuckled, he had a feeling he knew which curse it was. "NO!" said Astra, "don't do that!" but it was done. Her clothes melted away. Fred nodded and vanished. Belboz chuckled again. Wendel drooled. Astra got under all the covers. "This is bullshit!" she screamed. "Keep your eyes on me, Wendel," said Belboz. "Or I will tell Fred you were shirking your duties." Wendel cursed.
It was going to be a looong night...
