A Good Nights Rest

Fred had no problems getting the chambermaids to provide them three bed chambers in close vicinity to each other. They all agreed to go to bed early so they could awake (hopefully) before dawn and thus try to head off any rash actions by Reaibn.

They each tried to fall asleep (Belinda had no problems, but Fred and Astra each found it hard to stop thinking about their current predicament).

Meanwhile, Reaibn has other business to attend to...

Reaibn was trying his hardest to expand his influence beyond the borders of Allaria. So far, he had found no way. However, if his people were not returned, it would give him an excuse to retaliate against Aqualaria. He had a growing theory he could not stop obsessing over, that if he was to enter Aqualaria himself that his Eye would let him expand his power there.

It was all he could think about, and he was not precisely sure why he was hesitant to just do that anyway. A small part of him kept insisting that if he did that, that bad things would happen to him, that he could lose his power, and this gnawing doubt kept his impulses in check. But if the Aqualarians didn't return his people, well, he would be obligated to go have words with them. He chortled to himself madly, imagining how he would punish them. Oh, they would pay.

Meanwhile, the return of the Allarians has hit a snag...

The Aqualarian commander charged with getting the people returned back to Allaria had just learned that although all the troops were working through the night, there were four people unaccounted for. Four Allarian teenagers were not where they were supposed to be.

She swore under her breath. A search was implemented, but everyone was tired and she had no idea how long finding them was going to take.

1. Fred cannot get to sleep. He leaves his room to go find something to drink.
2. Fred and Astra both finally fall asleep. Belinda wakes them up pre-dawn, and they go to find Reaibn.
3. Meanwhile, Ruag puts into motion his part of the plan...
4. Meanwhile, the four Allarian teenagers head deeper into Aqualaria.
5. Meanwhile, a drunken gravedigger Emry has strange dreams of being king.
6. Meanwhile, in North Umbria, a plot thickens...
