Guest in the Bedchamber

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 94186

"Fearing someone needn't stop you from desiring them. It's not rational, but then even in sane people desire isn't always rational," said Belboz. "Plus, haven't you noticed that Fred has become nuttier than a loon? Do not seek reason in his decisions."

Astra sighed. "I am going to get read for bed, see you in a few minutes," she said, resignedly. Belboz nodded and left the room. As Astra headed for her bedchambers, she could only wonder how Edward was getting along...

Lord Edward Heimar has had a rather odd journey. Strange occurrences are a dime a dozen in Allaria with Fred posessing the Eye, but so far Edward has:

1) Been attacked by militant pixies (he escaped, but lost a lot of his stuff).
2) Narrowly evaded three different groups of bandits.
3) Been held captive by an entire village of people with pig heads. It was horrifying. He had escaped, but had to leave his cart behind.
4) Had terrible digestive issues.

Edward is now maybe two days from the Aqualarian border, and has just run out of food. He will have to scavenge for more, and hopefully find water. He is determined to reach Aqualaria and bring Astra's story to her mother the Queen.

Astra reached her room, and upon entering found Belboz already laying on a cot on the floor. "Hi," he said, with a false cheeriness. "Isn't this fun? Bah."

  1. Astra goes to bed fully clothed, and discovers soon that Belboz snores. Loudly
  2. A loud gong rings, just as Astra is getting into bed. Belboz jumps to his feet. "That is bad news!" he exclaims, worry on his face.
  3. Fred walks into the room, right after Astra gets settled. He wants to ask about how the wedding preparations are going.
  4. Astra falls asleep, but her dreams are vivid and disturbing...
