Once Ruag left, Astra and Belinda waited a short time before saying out
loud that they would agree to the dual marriage. Once they said this, there
was a wrenching sensation and they appeared at the high table in the main
dining hall. Reaibn and Fred were already seated, and there was a huge
spread of delicious smelling food. "I am so glad you came to your senses!" said Reaibn, exuberantly. Fred was eating silently, and motioned to Astra and Belinda that he could not speak still [93788]. Seeing them look at Fred, Reaibn held up a hand preemptively. "Not a word about Fred, here. He will find himself able to speak when he has learned how to appreciate what I have to offer, as you ladies have. Now, eat up!" The food smelled amazing, so Astra and Belinda dug in. After everyone ate for a while, a messenger came into the room. "Lord Reaibn!" he said urgently. "I have urgent news!" "Out with it," said Reaibn between bites of roast lamb. "We are trying to eat here. "Aqualaria has invaded again, my Lord! This time, they are moving slower, but they have taken the inhabitants of a border town back into Aqualaria. They are abducting our people!" "More like rescuing," muttered Belinda, but Astra kicked her under the table to shut her up. Reaibn, meanwhile, grew red in the face, and stood up, quivering in rage. "Those animals, those miscreants!" he roared. "This will not do, not at all. I am going to take care of this once and for all." he then looked at Fred and Astra. "Please excuse Belinda and me, we have business." before Astra could respond, they both vanished. "Belinda!" yelled Astra, standing up, but they were gone. "Fred, what has he done with her?" Fred of course could not respond, but he stood up swiftly, and accompanied her as she began to search for where Reaibn had gone.
