The Never Ending Quest - Episode 93656

"Never!" said Astra, and she took off again into the maze, Fred right behind. This time, Astra took out her dagger [93464] and used it to slice and cut at the maze. At first this seemed to make no difference, but occasionally, the vine would bleed orange, and when this happened an opening would occur. Eventually, they found themselves outside the maze, just before the castle gates. "Let's go!" said Astra, finding that herself and Fred were once again their normal size.

"Should I seal the gate?" asked a ghostly apparition, floating beside Reaibn, wearing a butler's uniform. Its eyes were vacant holes.
"No," said Reaibn. "somehow, they are thwarting me in small ways. This fascinates me. We will let them leave, and re-apply the whip. Before this is all over, they will beg me to let them fulfill my wishes." He then cackled madly, as the apparition bowed.
"Of course, my Lord," it said, and vanished.

Astra and Fred were shocked that they were able to leave the castle grounds without further obstruction. "We must get out of Caemlyn," Astra said firmly, "and then we can make further plans." Fred nodded his agreement.

What further insanity does Reaibn have in store for them as they try to escape the Allarian capitol?

  1. None. He lets them escape, but has a big surprise for them just outside the city.
  2. They discover that they are now wanted criminals for "Causing great harme to cute widdle kittense" - the populace is enraged!
  3. Lord Fred leads Astra to a place where he knows someone, but he is not recognized. In fact, no one knows who either of them are.
  4. No one can see them, it is like they are completely invisible!
