"Does this robe make me look fat? Be honest." Belboz said, with a leer.
"What? What does that have to do with anyth-" but then Astra was interrupted.
"Well," continued Belboz,"I figured if we were going to talk about silly things, I would continue in the same vein. You are obviously under geas [93298] and the fact that you didn't figure I would know means you don't have a very high estimation of my power. That in turn tells me that you will be unable to defeat the dragon. So, we midaswell just chat."

Astra was nonplussed, and took a moment to reply. "Ok, fair enough," she said, "but the only reason I-" and she was interrupted again.
"Dragon has your sisters, yes, I know." said Belboz, taking another big pull of his mulled wine [93334].
"Then you understand?" said Astra.
"Yes, fine, whatever," said Belboz, dismissively. "Look. Tell you what. You agree to do a couple of side tasks for me, and I will give you some magical assistance in slaying the dragon. Sound good?"
"Yes!" agrees Astra. "Anything to save my sisters. I will do your tasks after they are freed."

"No," disagreed Belboz. "You will do these tasks before. They are essential to your quest to slay the dragon."
"I have no time!" said Astra, desperately.
"Then make time." said Belboz flatly, drinking more mulled wine. "Or our deal is off."

  1. Astra asked what the first task was.
  2. Astra continued to argue with Belboz.
  3. Belboz got roaring drunk on the mulled wine, and Astra did too. Why not?
