One of Those, oh ok

"What the..." said Fred, staring out the viewscreen at the swirling green wormhole that has opened near the ship. "Oh, this is not good. Thrusters at full reverse!"
"You got it," said Astra, getting back into her Navigator chair and actually strapping in this time. Unfortunately, even at full thrusters the ship was moving slowly and inexorably towards the portal. "Fred," she said with a sigh, "we can't get free."
"Did we install those escape pods?"
"No. You said they were too expensive. You said that this ship could handle anything what with the new propulsion system you had installed."

"Ah, about that," said Fred, "sorry. I lost that money on a game of Glack'u back on Tyranus VI."
Astra roared her displeasure as they neared the wormhole. "If we live through this," she said, "I am going to have to hurt you."
"Fair enough," replied Fred. "We will find out in a moment."

As soon as the ship touched the wormhole, there was a brilliant flash of light and Astra and Fred found themselves growing lightheaded, and then they both passed out. Their ship exits the wormhole, in a completely new uncharted galaxy.

1. The crew had passed out as well, let's go over them before we go further.
2. Astra awakens, and tries to make sense of what the instruments are telling her.
3. Fred awakens, and curses loudly as he reads the instruments.
4. They both awake at the same time, and discuss their situation calmly.
5. In a cargo bay, an unmarked crate opens on its own.
