The Never Ending Quest - Episode 89464

The Millenium Budgie had emerged from hyperspace smack in the middle of a wide asteroid field. Actually, on closer scrutiny they turned out to be Astra-oids, small heavy space rocks shaped exactly like Astra, only without fur or boots. After a moment's hesitation the computer got busy placing little black bars all over the viewscreen.

"What now?" Fred muttered. "The coordinates are right, but..."

"Don't say it!" a Lucasfilm lawyer warned.

"Okay, but where is that stupid space mall anyway?"

"Actually," Astra stuttered, blushing invisibly under her face fur, "the coordinates aren't right. My bad. I forgot to carry the zero."

  1. This made perfect sense all considered.
  2. Actually carrying a zero (or not) doesn't make any difference.
  3. "The Zero" was the nickname of a space gremlin, who Astra had forgotten to carry to the airlock and kick out before it got into the navicom. It had already done a number on the Universal Translator.
  4. Astra became weightless. Fred, being the eccentric he is, became weightmore.
