Fred got off the ship and found himself on a beach. He explored it, trying to remember what had happened the previous day. Maybe he'd gotten drunk for some reason?

His thoughts were interrupted when he saw, ahead of him, a young women and a dog, both chained to the same rock.

The woman called out, "Sir knight, whoever you may be, please free me and my dog."

Fred approached the woman cautiously. "Er, who are you?"

"Well, that's rather rude. I said 'whoever' first!"

"Uh... considering that you're the one chained, I think you should do the answering first."

The woman looked at him uncertainly, but finally decided to cooperate.
